Rhea is very ticklish. She gets this from Justin because he too is extremely ticklish. She begs Justin to tickle her and laughs hysterically when he does it. Sometimes you just have to say the words tickle tickle and she cringes and giggles. So last night Justin was using his soldering iron in the kitchen (don't even ask) and he was kneeling on the floor. Unbeknownst to Justin, Rhea snuck up behind him grabbed his foot and screamed "tickle tickle" Picture if you will someone who is extremely ticklish using a blazing hot soldering iron while getting his feet tickled by a 20 month old. Needless to say, he will no longer be using this equipment outside of the garage.

I saw my future today
Justin's car is in the shop so his Uncle Dick let him borrow one until his is fixed. Introducing our future. Yes folks I am talking about the minivan. Now I learned to drive in my parents Ford Windstar. My brother and I loved that van as we each got our own row of seats and we could each bring friends with us where ever we went. But when I saw Justin driving up the street in the white minivan this AM, I realized our days of being cool are limited. Our daughter, just like me, will not think her parents are cool. Sure she will love us. But she will never think we are cool. Especially if we start driving a minivan.

I pulled into my driveway this evening to find a 26 foot ladder
laying on the ground. Justin comes running out of the garage and yells "Look, isn't it great? I bought it on Amazon" Now I know he has been looking for a ladder for a while now but I did not think he needed a 26 foot version. So I obviously ask him what he needs a 26 foot ladder
for. He looks at me with a dumb look on his face and says "So that I can climb on the roof" I am picturing a trip to the hospital in the near future and it will not be for me to deliver this baby!

Signs Your Husband is More Pregnant Than You- Part 2
Justin came home from work last Saturday crying about how hungry he was. He said he only ate a sandwich all day(and I am guessing some candies and a can of Coke). He proceeds to eat this list of food over the course of 3 hours
- a Yogurt
- a Mango
- a Banana
- Grilled chicken and salad
- Berries and Cool Whip
- a Chocolate Ice Cream Bar
- Candies
- an Everything Bagel with Onion and Chive Cream Cheese
- 1 liter of Diet Ginger Ale
- 1 Mike's Hard Cherry Lemonade
- Dried Fruit
And he continued to complain that he was still hungry long after he went to bed. Mind you I only ate items 3 and 4 over the course of the night and I am pregnant!

Signs Your Husband is more Pregnant than You
It was 78 degrees inside my house this weekend which is warm but with a fan it felt really nice. Justin comes home and starts complaining that it is soooo hot. He proceeds to strip down to his boxer shorts and keeps complaining about the heat. I say to him your pregnant wife is supposed to be the one complaining about how hot it is not you. He agrees and brings up the AC to put in the bedroom window which he proceeded to drop out the window. Once he straightens that all out he turns the AC to 64 degrees. I slept in a sweat shirt with sweat pants and a comforter on. Justin sleeps in his boxers with no covers. I think the pregnancy is starting to wear off on him

First comes Love, then comes Marriage....
So I have been on somewhat of a blog hiatus since the end of March. Justin and I found out some big news and it literally made me sick for a month straight. We are expecting our first child! I have had morning sickness morning, noon, and night paired with extremely low blood sugars which have pretty much left me immobile and not much fun. But there is light at the end of this tunnel. Dr says only 3 more weeks of feeling like this and I should be in the clear. As most of you know my husband Justin is a pretty funny guy and since he is pretty much clueless about pregnancy I have listed below the top Five things he has said to me over the past month. Enjoy!
- "You should probably take another test, I bet the positive one is wrong"
- "I will believe you are pregnant when you get your mammogram"
- "You cannot poop? Well make sure you don't push too hard, I heard you can die from that"
- "The baby is the size of a green olive? You just ate a jar of olives, it's like you ate 100 babies"
- "Of course Duke is going to bite the baby"

Valentine's Day in March
So I am making dinner with my hubby tonight when he looks at me and says
"Hey, isn't Valentines day coming up?"
I look at him lost.
He says "What? I was thinking we can do something special"
I continue to look at him lost
He then says "Oh yeah it is March. Did we do anything for Valentine's day? Did I get you anything?'
I could really have taken advantage of his brain fart but I told him yes we went for sushi and you bought me a second GPS.
Life with him is never dull!!

Snow on the roof
So all day Saturday I watched all my neighbors climb up on their roofs to remove the snow. It was crazy! They had to snow blow a place to put the ladder and then carefully maneuver the snow rake. When hubby got home we talked about whether or not we should get the snow off of our roof. Then I watched him go outside on Sunday in boat shoes and try to knock the icicles off the side of the house. As I watched him slip and slide all over the ground, I decided the risk of our roof collapsing outweighed the risk of him getting up on the roof!

I Cannot Turn on the light
So I go to put the laudry away tonight and turn on my bedroom light and the knob to twist the light on feels stuck. I have to use two hands to twist it on to the lowest setting. I yell into Justin:
Me- "hey did you notice something wrong with the light in here?"
Justin -"I fixed it"
Me-"it wasn't broke"
Justin " Don't worrry I fixed it, it is fine now"
after a long pause and a failed attempt at turning it off
Me "Please stop trying to fix things that are not broke"
